GALA has had National Merit Scholarship Finalists, Semi-Finalists, and students with commendation. The National Merit Scholarship Program is an annual academic competition for high school students that recognizes academic talent from the PSAT and offers college scholarships.

 Questbridge College Match
GALA has had several Questbridge Match Awardees to Yale, UPenn, and Duke Univeristies. National College Match Finalists are competitive candidates for admission to theircollege partners. Finalists who match are admitted to a college partner with a full four-year scholarship, worth over $325,000.

 Posse Scholarship
GALA has had several Posse scholars to Middlebury, University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Hobart & William Smith Universities. Posse is a full-tuition leadership scholarship for undergraduate students. The Posse Foundation identifies and recruits students with leadership potential, and places them in supportive teams.
