L.A.C.E.R Afterschool Programs
Our after-school program is offered by LACER Afterschool Programs. Download the application and learn more about program offerings at the links below. Completed applications can be submitted to the respective Program Directors on your child's first day of participation.
L.A.C.E.R. provides free classes in the arts, athletics, and academics every day after school — creating opportunities, building academic skills, and preparing students for their future.

STEP
L.A.C.E.R. offers a free Step Class for Middle and High school students' every day after school taught by GALA's incredibly talented Ashley Jackson! Step is a high-energy dance style rooted in African and African American traditions, using rhythm, stomping, clapping, and spoken word to create powerful performances. No prior experience needed, just enthusiasm and commitment! Practices are in Room 25 and will meet five days a week:
Interested students must have filled out and returned a L.A.C.E.R. Registration Form, complete with parent signatures to register for the class. Forms can be found at the front desk or with L.A.C.E.R. staff after school. Please submit forms to L.A.C.E.R. staff after school or to the L.A.C.E.R. mailbox in the main office.

MUSICAL THEATER
GALA offers an after-school Musical Theater program by audition. Students have the opportunity to perform on stage and be part of a full-scale production.
Not interested in performing? Students can also join the production crew and gain hands-on experience in lighting, sound, set design, costumes, and stage management.
SPORTS
CIF Athletic High School sports are offered by try-out only. Students have the opportunity to compete, build teamwork skills, and represent GALA in interscholastic athletics.

OFFICE HOURS
All teachers offer regular office hours to provide additional academic support, answer questions, and help students stay on track.
Take advantage of this dedicated time to get clarification, review material, or receive extra guidance outside of class.
